I can highly recommend this dental and implant centre. I have used them for several years and have always found them to be extremely efficient. The dentists, hygienist, and receptionists are all very pleasant and helpful.

I've had treatment here for 2 years now, the receptionists are really helpful and super nice, they really go out of their way to sort any problems out and get you in if you have an emergency. My dentist, Gary Wu is also very helpful and super nice, he's very professional and always gives good advice, I seriously can't recommend them enough, if I could I'd give them 10 stars !

Since starting my dental journey in October 2023 with a fixed brace I can not recommend Gary and the team highly enough. If your teeth need straightening and like me you were never certain who to trust go for a consultation here. At my initial appointment there were no pushy sales, I felt listened to and provided with all the information to decide. I was fully informed about the process of straightening my teeth with a fixed brace which was suitable for an underbite and cross bite. Each appointment to tighten my braces I was met with friendly reception staff and again everything explained to me. The team were contactable for reassurance if I had any questions. Yesterday I had my braces off after 8 months and this has made a huge difference to my smile and confidence. The whole team are professional, knowledgeable and caring. It was a positive experience and I only wish I’d have found them sooner. Thankyou all so much

Composite Bonding
Before & After

Treatment Process

Step 01

Preparation of teeth

First, we apply a bonding agent to your tooth. This agent helps the composite resin adhere better, ensuring a strong bond.

1

Step 02

Resin application

Next, we apply the tooth-coloured composite resin to your tooth. This resin is then carefully sculpted to address issues like cracks, gaps, or small teeth. We mould it to match the natural shape and contour of your tooth.

2

Step 03

Hardening the resin

Once we’re happy with the shape and appearance, we use a special curing light to harden the resin. This light quickly solidifies the resin, making the fix immediate and durable.

3

Step 04

Shaping & polishing

Finally, we make any necessary adjustments to ensure your bite is comfortable and the bonded tooth looks perfect. The area is polished to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, giving it a smooth, shiny finish.

FAQs

Composite bonding, also known as tooth bonding or dental bonding, is a non-invasive treatment that improves the appearance of your natural teeth by applying a resin material to form a new surface layer. Our experienced dentists often recommend composite bonding to fill gaps, repair discolouration, rebuild damaged areas, and enhance the shape and appearance of your teeth.

One of the key benefits of composite bonding is its ability to be colour-matched to your existing teeth. The composite resin restores the tooth’s original function while maintaining a natural appearance. Unless you choose to tell them, no one will notice that you’ve had the procedure.

One of our dentists may recommend composite resin bonding to repair the following concerns: Chipped or cracked teeth Decayed teeth Gaps between teeth Fractured or worn teeth Discoloured or stained teeth

When you visit our practice, our knowledgeable team will take the time to discuss the right treatment for you, talking through your oral health history and the goals you’d like to achieve for your smile. There are many benefits of opting for composite bonding treatment, including: Results can be made to look completely natural Predictable aesthetic and functional results No drilling needed No injections required Can be completed in a single appointment Reversible in most cases Failure is rare and very easy to fix Applied directly in the chair without laboratory involvement Suitable for patients of all ages

After you have had composite bonding on your teeth, you would care for your composite bonding as you would your natural teeth. Brush with fluoride toothpaste and floss twice daily. Just like your enamel, composite resin bonding can become stained. To keep your smile looking fresh and white, limit your consumption of food and drinks with a strong colour, such as black coffee and red wine. We also recommend visiting our practice twice a year, or every six months, for your regular dentist and hygienist appointments. If you are continuing to experience discomfort after your composite bonding treatment, or if something doesn’t feel right, please contact us immediately.
